This fabulous five bedroom, four season home is located in beautiful Southcott Pines. This spacious raised ranch offers two finished levels with lots of room for large families, a beautiful treed backyard with a large deck and a 7-minute walk to the great beaches of Grand Bend on Lake Huron. Grand Bend Getaway is close to downtown, shopping and many great golf courses in the area. It is also close to the Pinery Provincial Park.
This beautiful home offers everything you need for a wonderful vacation. You have access to private beaches. You can take a short walk or drive to Sun Beach and park in the designated area, off of Shoreline Drive. A pass is required which we provide and you are asked to leave the pass in the cottage when your vacation is over. You also have beach access to enjoy the shoreline and view sunsets overlooking Lake Huron just a short walk via the footpath at Spruce Lane, a 7 minute walk from the cottage.

This was one of the best cottages I have stayed at. Much better and bigger than expected. The pictures don't do it justice. It is great for a big family or two families as the house is divided into an upper and lower unit. The place was sparkling clean and well maintained through out. The location and surroundings are dreamy, private, yet accessible to everything you need. The private beach is a 10 minute walk, and the public beach is a 5-10 minute drive. Dean was quick to respond as well. He was a great host. Will definitely book this place again!
We had a sibling gathering at Dean & Lisa's house and absolutely loved it! So much space, beautiful kitchen and living areas as well as very comfortable beds!! Gorgeous outdoor area and we loved taking walks because of the scenery. Was a short drive to the Pinery where we went to the museum and to Grand Bend where we walked on the beach. Would definitely recommend this place and want to come back next year! Dean was very quick to respond to any questions I had and very gracious! Thanks so much for allowing us this opportunity to use your beautiful home!
We stayed at Dean and Lisa’s cottage this past weekend and it was exactly as advertised. It is spacious, with enough room for everyone and additional space - very comfortable! It is a short 5 minute walk to the beach, and a minute ride down to the strip. We would definitely book again!
We have rented 3 Years in a row here. Dean and Lisa are great to work with and the cottage is wonderful. 5-7 min walk to private beach which is never busy (nothing like downtown Grand Bend). We love our family get-togethers here!
We’ve stayed here for the last 2 years and we’ll definitely be going back! The beach is clean and never too busy. The cottage is in a quiet neighbourhood and is big enough for a couple of families. Dean and Lisa are very welcoming. Can’t wait for our next getaway!
We have rented out this cottage multiple times and it couldn’t be better!!!!! It is the perfect location — so peaceful and relaxing but not far from Grand Bend if you want to get out and browse through the shops there or go out to eat. Thank-you for all the wonderful vacations we have had so far! We can’t wait to come back next summer!!!!
We have rented for a few winters from the Lefaives while we renovated. It was the perfect spot for our family. The home was comfortable and well maintained. The Lefaives were kind and always available. The location is beautiful. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
